BICI Program Associate – Design (Two Positions Open)

GDCI is seeking to recruit two Program Associates to support the Bloomberg Initiative for Cycling Infrastructure (BICI) program. In this role, you will support various projects in various regions by supporting the review, creation, and implementation of street designs, specifically focusing on cycling infrastructure. You will support the development of technical written and visual content, contributing to the development of a supplement to the Global Street Design Guide and helping organize capacity-building sessions and workshops. While these positions are remote, it is preferred that one Program Associate is located in the Americas and the second Program Associate is located in Africa, Europe, or the Middle East.

BICI Program Manager – Design

GDCI is seeking to recruit a Program Manager – Design to support the Bloomberg Initiative for Cycling Infrastructure (BICI) by working closely with ten city partners to design and implement cycling infrastructure projects. In this capacity, you will manage a team of Program Associates and collaborate closely with the Program Managers to ensure the production quality and technical accuracy of the team’s design recommendations. The position will also interact with GDCI’s Design and Research team and partner with colleagues for cross-team collaboration and cross-pollination of cycling infrastructure design amongst other GDCI programs. While this is a remote position, it is preferred that candidates are located in Africa, Europe, or the Middle East.

BICI Program Associate (Handbook)

GDCI is seeking to recruit a Program Associate to support the Bloomberg Initiative of Cycling Infrastructure (BICI) in creating technical written and visual content/designs, publication or booklet development, training or workshops, and other program-related activities that support GDCI’s work in select international cities. This is a remote position, but it is preferred that candidates are located in Africa, Europe, or the Middle East.

BIGRS Regional Lead – Asia and Africa (Senior Program Manager)

GDCI is seeking a candidate located in India or Southeast Asia to fill a new role as Regional Lead – Asia and Africa, primarily focusing on the work in multiple regional countries as part of the Bloomberg Philanthropies Initiative for Global Road Safety (BIGRS). This role will work closely with staff to oversee and execute our programmatic responsibilities, ranging from capacity building to on-the-ground implementation support, adapting global best practices to local contexts, resulting in high-quality deliverables with measurable outcomes.
