Press Release: NACTO-GDCI’s Streets for Pandemic Response & Recovery Now Available in 7 Languages, Offering Global Cities New Tools for Addressing the COVID-19 Crisis

GDCI today released translations of Streets for Pandemic Response and Recovery into six additional languages—including Arabic, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish, and Turkish. Translations into French, Russian, and Mandarin will be released in October, 2020.

Press Release: Four Global Cities to Receive In-Depth Training and Resources for Building Child-Friendly Streets

The Global Designing Cities Initiative (GDCI), announced that four cities—Fortaleza, Brazil; Kigali, Rwanda; Santiago, Chile; and Tirana, Albania—have been selected for in-depth technical assistance and training, along with supplemental funding to develop child-friendly streets as part of GDCI’s Streets for Kids program.
